Hi, I’m Stephanie Miller.
I work as a mindfulness-based psychotherapist, meditation teacher and psychedelic integration guide with a deep commitment for empowering clients to heal themselves.
I began my career following a traditional corporate path, which lead to a work assignment in India. During this time, I was introduced to meditation and my journey to self-discovery began. Upon returning home, I suffered from a severe injury that left me unable to walk for months. Aware of the potential dependency on prescription pills, I turned inward and cultivated mindfulness tools for working through the pain.
Shortly after recovering from this injury, I was faced with the heartbreak of my father’s cancer diagnosis. I remained by his side and shared the tools I had developed to provide a more peaceful transition. After his passing, I could not go back to the corporate life I had been living, but was at a loss for what else was possible. I traveled to France and Spain where I lived in a tent in the mountains, learning to live off the land and discover my true calling. This experience was transformative and I am passionate about supporting others on their own personal journeys.
I have a private practice and lead retreats in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. When working together, I invite all of you into the room. Approaching clients with warmth, authenticity, and spaciousness, I tend to work in a grounded, embodied way that invites more awareness into your experience. I am an advocate for plant medicine, and the integration necessary to help make meaning of expanded states of consciousness.
I hold an MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. I have a daily Vipassana meditation practice, I am a Wilderness First Responder, and have trained with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) in the MDMA-Assisted training program.
